1. PHPV or FEVR. ?
The right ( good eye) seems to be slipping down. That is the white area above the cornea is often seen. Half of the cornea is hidden by the lower lid. Is it a sign of FEVR ( http://www.fevr.net/)
2. What about retina and cataract ?
3.In the edge of the eye (left) the lids seem to be fused together. Need surgery to separate them?
4.When to start wearing conformers ?
5.What are the advantages of Surgery ?
6.What are the disadvantages in keeping un-operated?
The first question I would ask is if he will get ANY useabvle vision from the surgery. You need ton find out more about patching, about the contact lens you will have to put in your son's eye.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "cornea" in questino one, I think you mean "iris". You may need to clarify that. The iris is the coloured part of the eye, the cornea is the outside layer of the eye.
Hope that helps!
